Mark Schmidt

CEO

Mark Schmidt is the President and CEO of Atlas10, bringing over four decades of expertise in the paving industry. From 1981 to 2015, he owned and operated a commercial paving company, gaining firsthand knowledge of the challenges in pavement management. In 2009, he founded Atlas10 to simplify and standardize pavement management using advanced technology, including drone-powered assessments. Today, Atlas10 empowers facility and property decision-makers with precise data to optimize budgets, extend pavement life, and reduce capital expenses.
Robert Lakeberg

Chief Technology Officer at Atlas10, LLC | GIS and Environmental Science Expert

With over a decade of experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), project management, and environmental science, Robert currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Atlas10, LLC. Since 2012, he has led innovative GIS and technology solutions, specializing in remote sensing, GPS data collection, and geographic analysis. Prior to his role at Atlas10, Robert gained valuable experience as a GIS Technician and Environmental Intern, working with various organizations, including the OKI Regional Council of Governments and Northern Kentucky University Center for Environmental Restoration.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Northern Kentucky University.
Edward Malicoat

Strategic Executive Account Manager

Edward is a seasoned inside sales and project management professional focused on driving productivity and quality sales outcomes for our clients. He joined Atlas 10 in 2016 bringing with him decades of proven planning and management skills delivering top quality results providing our clients with piece of mind. Edward thrives in our fast-paced assessment and construction environment resulting in consistent customer satisfaction.
Tom Brown

Director of Operations

Tom’s degree in Civil Engineering and 40 years of experience punctuates his commitment to producing quality infrastructure improvements for clients throughout the United States.

As our Director of Operations, Tom analyzes pavement condition, develops scope of work in the client’s interest, obtains competitive pricing from carefully vetted and qualified contractors and manages projects to ensure quality work.

Tom’s skills and experience have contributed greatly to the success and growth of Atlas 10 overseeing critical infrastructure projects across the United States since 2018.

Steve Wallace

Sr. Vice President Business Development

Steve has been involved with the civil infrastructure improvement and road and bridge community since 1992 serving as Managing Partner of Construction and Strategic Planning and Senior Partner for Business Development. Steve’s focus primarily on scaled public and private real estate and commercial development disciplines utilizing sustainable and environmentally friendly products and practices.

Since 1998, Steve has assisted public agencies and private companies evaluate sites and infrastructure feasibility and environmental impacts. Steve continues to implement infrastructure preservation and asset management strategies incorporating recycled materials to State Department of Transportation officials, Municipal agency managers and Association managers with emphasis on program solutions that result in lowering costs and extending service life of vital infrastructure.

Justin Tallon

GIS Support Specialist

Justin is a member of our GIS team and began his career with Atlas 10 in 2016 with a co-op/internship through the University of Cincinnati. He specializes in the use of geographic information systems to execute and deliver specific detailed site analysis and map generation.

Through his collection of asphalt and concrete pavement distress data, Justin is able to create a detailed visual analysis of each site condition and provide an accurate budget for replacement, repair and maintenance resulting in a reliable 5-year budget plan in which any client stakeholder can rely upon for determining true asset value.

Justin provides what is at the very core of what Atlas 10 delivers for their clients.
